We are reviewing our policies and those of our peers to determine how we compare. We also need to quantitatively assess the alcohol–related behavior on our campus. Our first step was to have the Harm Reduction Committee review the campus alcohol policy for students and the policy for staff. The recommendations presented to the campus in May 2011 are included below.
The Harm Reduction Committee is currently reviewing and implementing these recommendations. They will present an update at this end of this academic year.
The Harm Reduction Committee is made up of students, faculty, and staff and generally meets every other Thursday at 12:00pm. Any member of our community is welcome to attend. Please check the campus calendar for upcoming meetings.
