On April 1, 2011, Mark Peltz will join the Grinnell staff as the director of the Career Development Office (CDO). He will work to expand the CDO’s existing programs including providing more comprehensive support for students planning to attend graduate school, particularly in the areas of medicine and law. He will also work with the vice-president for development and alumni relations (expected to arrive in the summer of 2011) and the new alumni relations director (to be hired by the vice-president) to research and create new opportunities for alumni to assist students in researching, developing, and achieving the students’ career goals.
