Clint Korver '89

Dr. Korver grew up in Iowa and received a B.A. with honors in mathematics from Grinnell College in 1989. In 1994 he earned a Ph.D. from Stanford University's Engineering Economic Systems department, specializing in decision analysis. He is currently a Venture Partner in Crescendo Ventures in Atherton, California.

A serial entrepreneur, he founded and venture funded Outcome Software which built web-based decision tools. He holds a patent in web-based decision analytics. He founded and led The Decision Company and Decision Quality International where he trained and consulted with executives on decision making at Wells Fargo, Fidelity, Bank of America, Fleet Bank, MetLife, Eli Lilly, Lloyds TSB, General Motors and others.

He taught a short course at Grinnell entitled "Ethics in Business and in Life" in fall 2006. He sits on the Advisory Council of the Decision Education Foundation which teaches decision making skills to K-12 students. He works with the Decisions and Ethics Center at Stanford University in researching, writing about, and teaching ethical decision making.
