Mr. Korver received a B.A. with honors in mathematics from Grinnell in 1989.
In 1994, he earned a Ph.D. from Stanford University’s Engineering Economic Systems
Department, specializing in decision analysis.
He is currently venture partner at Crescendo Ventures, Atherton, Calif.
Previously, he served as CEO and founder of DecisionStreet Inc.
A serial entrepreneur, he founded Outcome Software, which built web-based decision tools.
He holds a patent in web-based decision analytics.
He founded and led The Decision Company and Decision Quality International, consulting with
executives at Wells Fargo, Fidelity, Bank of America, and others on decision-making.
In 2006, he taught a short course at Grinnell, titled Ethics in Business and in Life.
He sits on the Advisory Council of the Decision Education Foundation, which teaches
decision-making skills to K-12 students.
He works with the Decisions and Ethics
Center at Stanford University to research, write about, and teach ethical decision-making.
