George Shott is the President of Shott Capital Management, an investment management firm in San Francisco, California. The business manages investments by colleges, pension funds, and foundations. The company specializes in technology-focused private equity transactions. Mr. Shott is an expert in the distribution aspects of private equity investment. Since its inception in 1991, SCM has managed more that $1.4 billion in share distributions for American and European institutions.
Mr. Shott was born in northwestern Nebraska and raised in Fairfield, Iowa. He attended Parsons College for two years and transferred to Stanford University where he graduated from the Business School.
