Final Schedule Spring 2005

The Committee on Academic Standing has issued thefollowing final examination schedule for the second semester of 2004-05.  Collegepolicy stipulates that neither students nor faculty members may make changes inthe published examination schedule without prior approval of the Registrar.  Conflicts caused by the schedule should beresolved by discussion with the appropriate instructor and completion of aChange in Examination form available in the Registrar=s office.

Examinations for students inclasses meeting at arranged hours will be during thefinal exam week at the examination time assigned to the time slot during whichthe arranged course met.  If a classmeets in more than one time slot, the exam may be given in either time slotlisted, at the discretion of the instructor.

All take-home exams must be submitted to the appropriate instructors by the date stipulated by theinstructors, or, at the latest, by 5:00 p.m. on the final day of the examperiod (May 20).  All otherwritten work, or oral defenses of written work, required in various courseswill also be due by 5:00 p.m. on May 20, but instructors may also stipulateearlier due dates for this work if they so choose.

Students who have justifiable reasons for submittingcourse work later than the deadline stipulated are expected to work outarrangements for grades of Incomplete and extensions of time with theirinstructors, in accordance with the procedure for doing so as set forth in the StudentHandbook.  No grade of Incompletewill be processed by the Registrar=s Office if prior approvalhas not been granted by the Registrar.

Instructors will be expectedto submit final grades for all students to the Registrar: 1) verification of Cgrades for all 2005 candidates for graduation by 12:00 noon on Saturday,May 21, 2005 (someone will be in the office between 9:00 am and noon);2) final second-semester grades for all students by noon on Tuesday, May31, 2005.
