Campus Language and Project Houses

Grinnell College offers 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students the opportunity to live in campus houses.  House groups may be single sex or co-ed; rooms are gender neutral.  Students living in campus houses may review their meal plan options by visiting the Dining Sevicesweb page.

Language Houses

Five language houses have existed since the 1993-94 academic year. These houses are associated with their academic department. The purpose of the language house program is to provide students who speak or are learning to speak another language with an environment that is conducive to learning the language, culture, and customs of the country/countries of the language.

Project Houses

Three project houses are available to students. A project house consists of students with a common interest and a desire to promote that interest to the campus community.
