GRINNELL CORPS: GRINNELL

Every year, Grinnell College sponsors one graduate to work for a year in the town of Grinnell at a human service or development agency as a part of the Grinnell Corps. From 2001-08. local agencies applied to host two consecutive one-year Fellows; after these two years, the Fellowship moved to another agency in town. Past hosts included the Galaxy Youth Center (2001-03), Domestic Violence Alternatives/Sexual Assault Center (2003-05), Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA) (2005-07), and the Grinnell-Newburg School District (2007-09)

For 2009-11, Grinnell Corps: Grinnell will return to Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA), the local anti-poverty agency.
