Young Adult Service Communities (YASC) is a one-year volunteer program of the United Church of Christ (UCC) for young adults ages 21-30. Volunteers live in intentional community with others who share commitments of service and social justice. Volunteers reflect on faith questions and network with members of other volunteer communities around the country. YASC focuses on community living, service-justice advocacy, leadership development with local congregations, and faith conversations. Volunteers accompany people in need through service and justice advocacy ministries in the community of the host congregation. Host churches are located throughout the United States.
