Teach English in Georgia, a beautiful country that borders the Black Sea, Russia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Footprints Recruiting has been officially selected as the primary provider of teachers to the Ministry of Education in Georgia. Footprints is providing over 100 teachers per month to this Eastern European country. Georgia is rapidly modernizing with ancient traditions of hospitality. It is a country of incredible diversity; from glaciers to beaches to the highest mountains in Europe where 40% of the country is covered by forest and teachers will be able to visit mountain top churches and castles that take them back to a different era. Georgia is a year round travel destination and a great opportunity for teachers.

Although this is considered a volunteer program, English teachers are paid a monthly stipend, provided housing and food with a Georgian family and "volunteer teachers" get free round-trip airfare.

Teachers who arrive before October 20th have the option to stay for one or two semesters (the academic year). Teachers who arrive AFTER October 20th will be required to stay for the academic year (running until the end of July).

Every group of teachers will have a 7 day orientation included: Georgian lessons every day, Georgian methodologies of teaching, safety training, bank representatives' presentations, medical insurance company presentation, cultural orientation and various other orientation and information sessions. During the orientation the employer will provide the teachers with accomodation, meals and transportation.
