Founded in 1972, Interac is committed to providing excellence in the fields of school, business, language and cross-cultural training. Interac constantly strives to enhance its position as Japan's foremost language and management training organization. Interac has nine domestic branches and three overseas offices serving a client base of more than 4,000 organizations.

Interac is Japan's leading private provider of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs). Our highly-motivated and qualified teachers serve thousands of schools and boards of education throughout every region of Japan, working with children from kindergarten to high school.

Interac ALTs work with Japanese Teachers of English (JTEs) and Homeroom Teachers (HRTs) in elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools all across Japan. Some ALTs have the opportunity to visit kindergartens as well. With recent pushes for increasing global awareness, Japanese schools have come to rely more and more on ALTs for enriching their students' English education.
