Mississippi Teacher Corps website

The Mississippi Teacher Corps is a two-year program that recruits college graduates to teach in the Mississippi Delta. This program is similar to the Peace Corps and Teach for America.

    Application Requirements: 
    • The Mississippi Teacher Corps has four application deadlines (similar to Teach for America)
    • All candidates must have received a Bachelor's degree by June, 2009 and have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on all course work in the baccalaureate degree
    • No previous education course work is required or expected
