A one year fully-funded Master's program plus secondary school certification, followed by a two-year teaching commitment in the New Haven Public Schools. During training, teachers develop a sense of community with the program and explore highly theoretical readings in a seminar setting while getting public school classroom experience throughout the entire length of the program. From the program's standpoint, all of this training in necessary considering the effect teachers can have on inner-city students.

- Test scores
- Three uploaded documents
- Official transcript from every university attended
- Application fee of $90
Benefits:
- Funds the course of study
- Pays an additional stipend during the year of enrollment ($25,500 in 2009-2010)
- Ten Fellowships are available with preferences given to candidates in Science and Math
- All candidates admitted into the program are automatically awarded the Fellowship
