The Stonewall Resource Center is staffed by a student management team:

Manager: Robert Mulry '13

Office Hours: TBA

Robert Mulry is the SRC's Manager and a fourth year History major from NYC. He's very excited to work to bridge the divide (perceived or otherwise) between various communities on campus. Robert worked with Queer People of Color for his first two years and helped continue the project that is Grinnell's Drag Show. Through his work off campus in the non-profit world, he hopes to help Queer and allied Grinnellians gain connections in LGBTQ and related service work. On a weekend you might find Robert riding his bike, playing basketball with the Justin Bieber Netanyahu's, listening to Mykki Blanco or discussing the implications of increased societal acceptance of mainstream LGBT rights based movements. More likely than any of that, he's probably drinking coffee with Taylor and thinking about stroopwaffels and reminiscing about their study abroad experience in Amsterdam.

Programming Coordinator: Taylor Nys '13

Office Hours: TBA

As a fourth-year student, Taylor Nys is trying to put zer education into action by working as the SRC's Programs Coordinator. Traveling from the land of cheese and cows (Wisconsin dontcha know?), ze is double majoring in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies and Sociology. After the tremendous support of SRC groups during zer first years at Grinnell—specifically the Transgender Advocacy Group—ze became more committed to sustaining and expanding the work done by the SRC. Taylor is excited to continue the work of previous SRC staff members to make the SRC a more inclusive and viable resource to the Grinnell community. When Taylor is not doing homework or attending one of the many social justice meetings and opportunities at Grinnell, you will probably find zer reading a fantasy book under a tree, playing with zer pet gerbil Calvin, or drinking coffee. Actually, you will always find zer drinking coffee.

Library Coordinators: Lee Rodman '13 and Anne Damtoft '13

Office Hours (Lee): TBA

Office Hours (Anne): TBA

Lee Rodman is a fourth-year from outside of Boston, MA, and she wants to learn about everything! Since that's not possible, she's an anthropology major so that she can at least study everything about humans, which is not everything but is still a lot. One topic she wants to learn more about is queer culture, history, and activism. In this pursuit, she has frequently drawn on the resources made available by the SRC, including books, events, and student organizations. She is incredibly excited to help keep these resources available to students by serving as one of this year's two SRC librarians! Over the course of the year, she hopes to ensure that the SRC library has an accurate and user-friendly catalogue, to update the library's holdings, and to keep the SRC staffed with student Monitors, all with the help of her delightful co-librarian, Anne. Other things Lee really likes include plants, puzzles, adventures, dinosaurs, TV shows by Joss Whedon, doodling, and macaroni.

Anne Damtoft is a fourth-year gender, women's, and sexuality studies major, and the SRC co-librarian. She looks forward to working with people from throughout the campus community, queer or otherwise, in her THRILLING pursuit of library science! When not in the library, Anne can be found swinging foam swords, singing, or all of the above at once. She hopes to get to know [you] soon!

Monitors

Volunteer monitors work in the SRC during open hours. Monitors are happy to help you check out library materials, to answer questions, and to direct you to whatever resources you might need.
