The primary purpose of the Student Affairs program is to complement and enhance the college’s central educational mission. A concurrent goal is to develop a positive community within each residence hall and on campus that reflects and addresses the broad range of student experiences and life within a rigorous academic environment.

The Students Affair’s program is based on a unique philosophy of student self-governance where students assume responsibility for themselves and their community within the residence halls with few rules and regulations.
