Need help with a research paper and not sure where to turn? Feel too embarrassed to ask your instructor? Make an appointment with a Reference Librarian. They're friendly and soooo helpful you'll wonder why you never worked with them before!

Library Lab is an individual research appointment initiated by the student to pursue research on a specific topic. A librarian will prepare prior to the appointment and then meet with the student to discuss and walk through the steps of the research process. A session with them may consist of receiving assistance choosing a topic, or going through all the steps of the project in an in-depth manner; it may be a rather brief introduction to a research area with which the student has not yet worked; or it may provide familiarization with the arrangement, tools and materials available in Burling Library and/or the Windsor Science Library.
