Studio Art:The studio art courses ART 111 and 134 are open to first-year students without prior experience or prerequisite. ART 111 Introduction to the Studio is a prerequisite for all 200, and 300-level studio courses. Potential studio art majors are encouraged to take ART 103, 111, and 134 during their first year. Students may select from any 200-level studio course in the Fall or Spring semester to fulfill the studio art concentration; no particular sequence is necessary at the 200-level.
