Review Team's Final Report

In the spring of 2011, a review team consisting of the following members conducted a thorough review of the Student Conduct Program:

  • Sentwali Bakari, Dean of Students, Drake University
  • Jim Hoppe, Dean of Students, Macalester College

The review was conducted April 24‐26, 2011. On Sunday evening, the review team met briefly with Vice-President for Student Affairs W. Houston Dougharty, Travis Greene, and Michael Sims; on Monday the team met with faculty, staff, and students involved with Student Conduct and Student Activities; Tuesday morning the team had individual follow‐up sessions with Travis Greene, Michael Sims and W. Houston Dougharty.

For the Student Conduct Program, the charge of the review team was to review existing protocols and procedures as it related to addressing student behavioral issues through various forms of student conduct procedures.

Response to Review Team's Final Report

Once the review team's final report was submitted to W. Houston Dougharty, Vice-President for Student Affairs, the report was sent sent to department/program heads (Travis Greene - for Student Conduct; Michael Sims - for Student Activities and Campus Center Operations) for review and comment.
