On Sun, Nov 6, the Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus performed in Herrick Chapel. The chorus is dedicated to "promoting harmony among all, while promoting a positive image of gay people through outstanding musicianship, creative programming and communiuty outreach." The 2-hour event included songs form multiple regions of the world: Northern Ireland, British Isles, Estonia, South Africa, and the USA sending messages of vigor and courage while conveying a sense of community in solidarity.
