Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for lunch and a panel discussion for First Generation College Students. Members of the panel will each tell a brief story of an experience, difficulty, or challenge they had as a First Generation College Student, how they navigated that experience, and what they have learned from it. Attendees are invited to reflect and share in a facilitated discussion on topics such as: encountering college life vs one's previous experiences, balancing expectations from home and academic success, and honoring one's roots.
Panelists Include: Ben Aronowicz ‘12; Christian Snow ‘13; Michael Hunt, Senior Residence Life Coordinator; Stephen Sieck, Asst. Professor of Chemistry; Tammy Nyden, Assc. Professor of Philosophy
