2012 Grinnell Prize co-winners Jacob Wood, co-founder and president, and William McNulty, co-founder and vice president, of Team Rubicon will be on campus February 22-27 to receive their prize and meet with the campus community. The full schedule of public events is available below. 

Jacob and William were not able to attend the November 2012 symposium, when the other 2012 winners were presented with their prize, due to their much-needed efforts in assisting with Hurricane Sandy. Information on the November symposium, held on the Grinnell College campus November 12-16, 2012, is available on the Symposium Nov. 2012 page. More information on the 2012 winners Cristi Hegranes, founder and executive director of Global Press Institute; and Jane Chen, CEO of Embrace Innovations and co-founder of Embrace and Embrace Innovations, and Linus Liang, COO of Embrace and co-founder of Embrace and Embrace Innovations (shared award) is available on their 2012 winners' pages. Linus Liang will take part in some of the events taking place during the February 2013 symposium with Jacob and William, and also lead a workshop on "Intro to Design Thinking."

Grinnell College holds a symposium and awards ceremony to honor the winners of the Grinnell College Young Innovator for Social Justice Prize and to share knowledge about innovative social justice programs. Prize recipients deliver public lectures regarding their experiences and perspectives in shaping innovative programs that effect positive social change.
