Ben Offenberg is the Grinnell student body president. Last year, Ben was elected to serve as the student government vice president for student affairs in which he advocated for students in many different areas of student life. Ben is a biological chemistry major with interest in Arabic and law. In his first two years at Grinnell Ben lettered in varsity football and varsity track and field. Ben is also on the Grinnell Mock Trial team and a member of Grinnell's Jewish organization, Chaluztim. Ben attended Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois, where he earned varsity letters in three sports and his Eagle Scout award.
