Gabe Schechter is president of the Grinnell student body president. He previously served as treasurer of the student government, where he ensured and enabled programming for the campus and helped create and advance the first official nonprofit student organization at Grinnell College. Additionally, Gabe was one of the first math teachers for Grinnell College's Liberal Arts in Prison Program. Gabe is both a mathematics and economics major but remains committed to developing his skills in jazz musicianship.
