Spaces

Herrick Chapel is our largest worship space on campus. It is architecturally and historically Christian. We hold Sunday morning worship services there on special occasions and holy days. Black Church at Grinnell Services and the Thank God! (praise service) are also held in Herrick. Because it is our largest facility, seating approximately 400, this is the location for our weekly Convocation. The Chapel can be reserved through the Office of the Chaplain.

Religious & Spiritual Activities Area is used by many religious and spiritual groups as well as student-lead recovery groups. This room is religiously neutral by design to better accommodate the needs of our diverse community. It is located at 1233 Park Street (accross from ARH) and can be scheduled through the Office of the Chaplain.

The Center for Religious and Spiritual Life, Social Justice, and the Chaplain. This Center has a multi-religious activities room on the first-floor where worship, text studying and meetings are held. The Prayer & Meditation room and the Mulit-Religious/Spiritual Library area is located on the second floor and is used by various religious and spiritual groups. The Chaplain's Office, Prison Program, Community Service Program, Office of Social Commitment and Alternative-Break Program are located in this building as well. The building is available from 8:00 a.m - 12 midnight 7 days aweek, please feel free to stop by!
