Residence Life Coordinators, who live in the residence halls, all hold advanced degrees primarily in Higher Education, Social Work or Counseling. Their primary responsibility is to build community within the residence halls by getting to know students and by providing counseling, academic support and educational programming. They are well-versed in Grinnell's residential culture and often are keenly aware of the issues that arise in the halls. Their professional yet accessible demeanor, skills, and visibility make them each an excellent resource for students.
