The residence halls open to returning students at 8 a.m. the day before registration each semester. The residence halls remain open during fall and Thanksgiving recess periods. The residence halls close in December at noon on the Saturday following first-semester finals. The residence halls close at noon on the first Saturday of spring break. They reopen on Wednesday of the second week of spring break at 5 p.m. The College is not responsible for housing students during winter break or spring break. The College allows all students to remain in the residence halls through graduation, closing on graduation day at 5 p.m.

Student meal plans for second semester, however, end with the evening meal on the Friday of exam week. The dining halls will be open, but meals must be purchased.

In the case of inclement weather during the opening and closing of the residence halls, we will adjust the opening/closing schedule accordingly. Students should check e-mail regarding changes. The openings and closings for the 2008–09 academic year are as follows:
