The mission of the Grinnell College Office of Safety and Security (including parking services) is to protect persons and property while maintaining an atmosphere of order on the Grinnell College campus. The goal is to provide an environment where students, faculty, and staff can conduct their academic and related activities in a safe and suitable manner. All safety and security problems should be reported to the Office of Safety and Security immediately. The office is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Annual Security Report Campus Security Act
This report includes statistics for the most recent three-year period concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Grinnell College, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report includes institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. This information is also available on the Internet by going to the Grinnell College Office of Safety and Security website at Security Office.
