If you need to be seen by a physician after the health center is closed please contact the RLC or Dean on call by calling Security, ext. 4600. Procedure is as follows: 1. Will be seen by Emergency Room Physician. 2. The Emergency Room Physician should be informed if you have seen a physician in Grinnell. 3. Costs involved (Approximate)
a. emergency-room cost $28.00-30min, 36.00-45min, 45.00-1 hr, 54.00 -1.5 hr, 70.00-2 hr b. physician on call 70-95.00 plus c. local physician 30.00 plus d. lab cost additional charge e. x-ray cost additional charge 4. Give the following information: a. name of patient b. nature of problem c. mode of transportation friend RLC Health Center car ambulance
5. Have someone contact your RLC if this has not been done. 6. Notify the Health Center nurses by phone, ext. 3230 of care received. You will be able to leave the information on the answering service over the weekend.
