An injury to a Grinnell College student at the PEC or an athletic event should be handled as follows:
1. report injury to PEC official PEC official to complete injury report 2. all injuries should be reported to the Health Center a. receive treatment or referral to Grinnell Regional Medical Center during RN hours (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) b. at all other times the student should be taken to the Emergency Room at Grinnell Regional Medical Center 3. notify Health Center of the following: name of patient type of injury mode of transportation (friend, RLC, ambulance 7-911 or 7-236-4142], or Health Center car) 4. return to Health Center to fill out insurance forms for claim at your convenience
