If Your Medications or Allergies Change
Over the course of your years at Grinnell, your medications probably change. You may also discover that you have allergies which you have not had before, or which you have not known that you had. Please update your health data any time your medications or allergies change.
Beginning sometime next spring, you will be able to update your health data on line by using our OpenCommunicator site. Until then, any time you have a nursing appointment at Student Health and Counseling Services (SHACS), please tell your nurse if there have been changes in your medications and/or allergies.
We ask this so that if you are ill or injured and are unable to talk, we can give your medical care providers a list of your current medications and/or allergies. This is important for your quality of care and to prevent adverse reactions to treatment.
