SHACS On Line

We are pleased to announce that we have a new electronic record system called Open Communicator which allows you to manage your health forms, as well as some of your appointments with Student Health and Counseling Services (SHACS), on line.  It also automatically generates email reminders of your upcoming appointments at SHACS.

Please visit the OpenCommunicator site to:

• Complete your required health form.
  All students (new and returning) must complete the on-line Health History Form.
  New students must also complete the TB Screening Form and the Physician's Evaluation of Health Form.
• Schedule an appointment to see a nurse.
• Schedule a first, or "intake," counseling appointment.
  Prior to your intake appointment, you may also provide required demographic, symptom, and background information online.

You can check in for your appointments at SHACS by using the touch-screen station located just inside and to the right as you enter our front door.  (Of course, you are also always welcome to sign in with our friendly staff at the front desk!)

We anticipate that there will be occasional glitches in the system.  Please let us know if you have any difficulties with it.
