Students can come to Christine:
- about a student/faculty/staff member in need of help or aid to report lost or stolen property
- to report threats and assaults
- if they feel uncomfortable with something or someone
- if they feel unsafe and need to be escorted
- if just want to say hi
Christine started working for Grinnell's Safety and Security department in 2011. Within the Division of Student Affairs, she is responsible for student health and safety, reporting incidents that affect the college community, and providing aid and looking out for the safety of Grinnell students, faculty and staff. She makes sure laws, rules and regulations that affect the college as a whole are being implemented. She believes in honesty, and treats everyone the same, with respect, irrespective of whether they are at their best or their worst.
