Nikeisha

 

My name is Nikeisha Sewell and I am currently a second year student at Grinnell. I hail from the paradise called Jamaica. I am currently undecided about my major but I enjoy studying Economics, Spanish and French. When I am not busy doing home work (which is not generally too stressful since the classes I take are related to my interests) I am usually hanging out with my friends or engrossed in extra curricular activities. I am an active member of the African Students Union and the Students Organization of Latinos - where I often get to expand my taste bud with the delicious food they have prepared. I also enjoy singing in the Young Gifted and Black (YGB) Gospel Choir and going to community worship with the Grinnell College Christian Fellowship. This for me is a great way to relax with my friends. My time at Grinnell has been simply wonderful. At first it was hard being away from home, but I have found that the faculty, staff and students here are magnificent. If there ever is a problem there is always a listening ear or a comforting shoulder near by. I love Grinnell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Back to Profiles
