Why I chose Grinnell: I came to Grinnell because of the diversity of the curriculum. I came because of the diversity of students - I've had the chance to meet friends from all around the world.  I came to have opportunities like study abroad and student-professor research.  Finally, I came to Grinnell because it is loads of fun to be here!

How I spend my time: I spend my time playing music, hanging out with my friends and my girlfriend, studying (and yes, I really do ENJOY learning!).

A highlight from my time here: One highlight of my Grinnell experience was this past April, when I saw all of the "prospies" coming to campus and I was able to relate to how everything was a year ago and how everything seems perfect.  I made the right choice to come here!

My favorite class (so far): My favorite class is a tough pick...  I really loved my tutorial class about Vaccinations and Society, but my biology class taught me a lot about understanding scientific writing and learning.  These classes actually cover everything that you didn’t get to learn in high school and clear the path for more advanced courses.

Three words that describe 'my' Grinnell: Fun – Study - Squirrels

My advice to new or aspiring Grinnellians: Don’t be afraid, enjoy your time here.  Grinnell includes a lot of studying, but it pays off.  The classes are small, the teachers are here to help you and so are your friends.  There are always study breaks to relax from classes and there is no need to be intimidated. Grinnell its totally worth the hard work.  It opens you up to the world.
