Name: Wadzanai Motsi
The place(s) I call “home”: Zimbabwe
Class year: 2012
Major/Intended Major: International Relations
Why I chose Grinnell: Rebecca Zeigler-Mano who runs the educational advising program at the US embassy in Zimbabwe thought it would be a good fit for me! (Thanks Rebecca)
How I spend my time: What time?! Most of it is divided between classes and my role as VP for Academic Affairs with SGA. I'm BUSY!
A highlight from my time here: Senior year :)
My favorite class at Grinnell (so far): I took "Intro to Economics" in my first year. It was the HARDEST class I have ever taken, but the best professor I could have taken it with.
Three words that describe ‘my’ Grinnell: BUSY, humorous, studious
My advice to new or aspiring Grinnellians: Grinnell really is what you make it. You can really transform your college experience here if you challenge yourself, are willing to engage with people from different places and learn from everything and everyone.
