Welcome! Grinnell College is 'home' to nearly 190 international students from 50 countries. The college values the diverse perspectives and experiences that international students bring to the campus and community.
The Office of International Student Services (OISS) strives to make the educational experience of international students as meaningful and successful as possible. OISS coordinates programs to facilitate their initial adjustment to the college and provides continuous support and services throughout a student's four years at Grinnell. We collaborate across campus and in the local community to help create a positive atmosphere where students can live and learn effectively. We also support international programming on campus as a means of stimulating cross cultural understanding and interest.
The International Student Organization (ISO) is a student organization that sponsors social and educational events designed to promote understanding and friendship among international and U.S. students. ISO organizes a variety of events - study breaks, International Food Bazaar, Cultural Evening, and various activities for students throughout holidays and vacations like movies, dinners and local outings.
If you are a prospective international student and you have questions about Grinnell College, please contact the Office of Admissions.
