Hi from a Bulgarian Grinnellian! : ) So, you are wondering "Why Grinnell?" Here are my "why's:"

a. Because having an open curriculum is great: I am majoring in Mathematics and Psychology, but have also taken classes in German, Russian, Art History, Sociology, Economics, Gender and Women Studies and Philosophy! Each of these classes has offered yet another valuable perspective on both academic as well as real life.

b. Because Grinnellians make you feel at home! They are smart, caring, accepting, understanding and most of all diverse! I have made friends from all over the world and enriched my knowledge about different countries and cultures.

c. Because Grinnell not only brings different cultures together on its campus, but also gives you the opportunity to visit these countries and spend a semester there. Last fall, I was studying at the University of Adelaide, Australia. While being one of the most amazing experiences in my life, it also made me appreciate Grinnell even more for its small classes, approachable professors and state-of-the-art lab equipment.

I am now finishing my 6th semester here and, looking back, there is not a single thing that makes me regret choosing Grinnell! I loved every moment spent here - be it with friends, in classes, or in some of the numerous college clubs. At Grinnell, it's all about finding who you are and being yourself! Because there are no limits!
