The College Bookstore located on campus, on the east side of the Carnegie building is the source for required textbooks and course materials. It also carries general reading and scholarly books, school supplies, college clothing and memorabilia, computer supplies, art supplies, snacks, greeting cards and health & beauty aids. Services provided by the bookstore include special ordering books, discount movie tickets, faxing and online textbook reservations. The bookstore accepts the Pioneer One-Card. The Pioneer Bookshop, located in downtown Grinnell, is an extension of the College Bookstore. It is located at 823 4th Avenue. The Pioneer Bookshop specializes in books about Iowa , the Midwest and the prairie including history, crafts, farming, tourism, fiction, children's books, natural history, arts and biographies as well as music recorded by Iowa musicians. The latest national bestsellers in hardback, paperback and children's titles are also available and are discounted 25%. Grinnell College memorabilia, children's toys, stationary and gifts are also available. Hours are Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday nights until 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
