The Stonewall Resource Center is staffed by a student management team:
To compensate for a somewhat boring/stressful major (biology) Brian Perbix strives to keep his life outside of class full of excitement! Whether it's stuffing his face at Community Meal or wrangling goats out at CERA, life is never dull with Brian around! While Brian is super-excited for all of the amazing activities that he will help plan through his position as Program Coordinator, nothing is as near and dear to Brian's heart as the semesterly QPOC Drag Extravaganza. In the past, "Brianna" has not liked your girlfriend better than Avril, and pulled the wig down from the shelf better than Hedwig. How will Brianna win our hearts (and our singles) this year? You'll just have to come and see for yourself.
A somewhat-fresher face here at Grinnell, Leah transferred to Grinnell from Miami of Ohio her second year, and "what a long, strange trip it's been!" From going around campus in a wheelchair to look at Grinnell's (lack of) accessibility, to leading a not-so-angry mob to a Love Rally, Leah likes to keep it interesting! If you come by the SRC library, you're sure to find Leah pouring over some of our exciting titles, such as Gender Outlaw and I Heart Female Orgasm . When not hanging out in the SRC, Leah enjoys playing water polo (although at times it seems a bit masochistic), and cooking yummy veg. food. Oh, she also abbrevs like it's her job.
Volunteer monitors work in the SRC during open hours. Monitors can help you check out books and videos, and are generally good, friendly people.
