Grinnell College Film Festival 2003

Introduction

hollywood We were the first college founded west of the Mississippi River, by the very man (J.B. Grinnell) to whom Horace Greeley told, "Go west, young man." In the world of cinema, Grinnell is proud of our many prominent alumni including Academy Award Winner Gary Cooper '26 (High Noon), Peter Coyote '64 (Erin Brockovich), Muffie Meyer '67 (President of Middlemarch Films) and Emily Bergl '97 (The Rage: Carrie 2).

Continuing our tradition of excellence and innovation, we are pleased to announce the call for submissions to the Grinnell College Film Festival 2003. Whether you are enrolled at a school in New York, Omaha or Zurich, we look forward to receiving your submission. We seek to support and encourage the development of student filmmakers everywhere.
