Community simulation of war casualties in a "die-in" on Grinnell College Campus to protest the impending war on Iraq

This event will symbolize a fraction of the thousands of unjustified deaths that will result if the United States declares war on Iraq. We believe that the civilian casualties that will be caused by the war are unacceptable and avoidable. This action demonstrates our horror at the United States' pre-emptive aggression and our commitment to prevent it. This is part of a national student day of action against the war. In Iowa, there will be a protest at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa State in Ames and other locations around the state.
