************* Summary of Decisions Made *****
Probably the most important thing in this category is: This group is
focused on organizing against the mobilization to invade Iraq.
It was thought that the group should be its own entity on campus. That
we should try and work with as many groups as possible. That
organizational structure was not to be determined at first meeting.
Other decisions are below

********* One task still needing a volunteer -- Phone Tree designer
*****
Right now no one is signed up to design a phone tree. Personally, I
think this would help us out in the long run and I would appreciate
somone's help on this. If you think you could do it please contact me:
[zigaseli] @ x4039
********** Time/Place of meeting of "Campus Info Board" sub-group ****
Today, (Wednesday) in Forum Grill @ 4:30. This sub group is meeting to
work on creating a physical place to put group info for campus-wide
consumption. If you're interested show up or contact: E.B. Licata
[licata]
************** Questions to think about for next meeting ********
1) What should our group's name be. Two possibilities were: Anti-War
Alliance and Grinnellians For Peace
2) What kind of symbolic protests can member of the group engage in?
Are there nationwide actions we can link into?

To see Senate Joint Resolution 46 that is being debated on the floor of

or different story

Soldier killed in Kuwait
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A62706-2002Oct8.html
Passed to me from Bob Grey. The organization Moveon.org publishes a
digest of its own (among many other things). Rather than copying the
whole thing here, check it out at:
http://www.moveon.org/moveonbulletin/
Info on a filibuster that Sen. Byrd (W-VA) might initiate is attached in
a Word Document.
I'll stick to this for now. If anyone has any sources or articles
please sent them to me. I would say that we are not passing along a
wide range of opinions in this digest and that it would be worth it to
read the other side of things. If anyone's got something, tell me.

That's it for now!
