Welcome!

The Coalition of Anti-Racist Whites (CARW) is a newly formed student organization whose mission is to raise awareness about whiteness and white privilege and expand and contribute to a meaningful dialogue about race, racism and privilege on the Grinnell College campus and in the town of Grinnell.

We would like to thank you in advance for visiting our site and hope you return often. Since we are a newly formed student organization and excited about launching this site, we anticipate frequent updates and expansion of this site over the coming year.

"Whites who are sincere should organize among themselves and figure out some strategy to break down any prejudice that exists in white communities. This is where they can function most intelligently and most effectively, in the white community itself, and this has never been done."
-Malcolm X in March of 1965
