Bio: David D’Angelo, master of the arts, is currently training in computer science at the brilliant, highly-prestigious, best all-around Liberal Arts College-- Grinnell College, the only college well worthy of this often praised “Renaissance Man”. Born and raised outside Chicago, Illinois, Mr. D’Angelo has been in the spotlight in the arts his whole life. From an early age, David grew knowledgeable in the theatrical field, as his home practically became a theater. David’s father, Anthony D’Angelo, started the theater, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, the first dinner theater and first theater with a hydraulic stage in America. David developed his love for the arts in this theater as he watched his father produce shows and bring great theater to the Chicago area, while David worked behind the scenes running technical and business aspects of the theater with small part-time jobs. From running fog-machines to fixing computer problems, nothing at the theater was too much for David to handle.

Mr. D’Angelo’s interest in the theater never died as it even grew into something he enjoyed during his school time. Mr. D’Angelo starred in dozens of shows from elementary school to high school, and yet, still found time to work behind the scenes in other shows running technical aspects, and enjoy himself in other non-academic fields while maintaining a 4.7 Weighted GPA. David has played piano for 10 years, and with 9 years of training, David was the star trumpet player at his high school as he was first chair in the band, orchestra, jazz band, marching band, and the all-state band. He has also played trumpet in the pit for theatrical shows and has had many recitals. His musical talents don’t end there as he sang in varsity choir and an audition madrigal group of 16 singers. Mr. D’Angelo still carries out these interests at Grinnell College starring in the Grinnell Singers, orchestra, band, jazz band, and Gtones(an all-male acapella group). David still has yet more musical talents, as David has recently in the past few years become a phenomenal composer. David has written over 50 songs, which include songs sung in theatrical productions and songs performed at concerts by various artists. Mr. D’Angelo has even recently produced and marketed his second CD of various types of original compositions ranging from classical piano pieces to techno.

When David isn’t enjoying his non-academic school activities like Baseball, Gymnastics, Cross-Country, Math-team, and music or fighting off mystical dragons of doom and destruction terrorizing the common man, or in other words, doing community service, David finds the time to produce and direct whatever he can. David has created a comedic magazine called the “Phantom Phlyer”, which is currently distributed to high school classmates. David serves as the producer/designer/editor/writer of this magazine along with the help of 2 co-writers. These 2 friends also served as actors in the original full-length fictional film, “Mechanisms”, a comedy co-written by Mr. D’Angelo. This popular movie was produced, edited, directed, and filmed by Mr. D’Angelo.

David, ultimate bringer of quality entertainment, will do all he can to make sure the G-Tones never have an audience under a million people, and always appease the children because it is the children that are our future.
