In April 2004, SCIPE hosted two events related to the issue of gay marriage.
The first event was a panel discussion on April 12th on the topic of legal and Constitutional issues related to
marriage. Panelists were attorney J.C. Labowitz '71 and Prof. Ira Strauber (Political Science).
The second event was April 13th. That night we hosted a debate on the statement: "The U.S. Constitution should be amended to define marriage as exclusively between
one man and one woman." Dr. Mike Hartwig, Executive Director of Marriage Matters
argued in support of the statement and Bo Shuff, Field Organizer for Human Rights Campaign argued against it.

- To Save the Clips on your Computer:
- Choose which clip you would like to watch
- Put your mouse over the name of that clip (e.g. "doe_1.mov")
- Right-Click the clip (or for Mac users, bring up the options menu)
- From the options, choose either "Save Target As" or "Save Link As"

- This will begin downloading the clip . Depending on your internet connection speed and the clip you choose, this can take anywhere from 10 sec. (on campus) to 15 min (DSL).
- When the download has finished you can then play the file. To do so: Start the program Quicktime. Then go to "File" then "Open". Locate the file on your computer and open it.
