year·book (yîrbk) n.
1. A documentary, memorial, or historical book published every year, containing information about the previous year.
2. A usually bound publication compiled by the graduating class of a school or college, recording the year's events and typically containing photographs of students and faculty.
The Grinnell College Yearbook is designed, edited, and published each year by students in order
to maintain a pictorial record of that year for students, faculty, staff
and community to enjoy.
The staff for the 2003 yearbook is restoring and revitalizing the concept
of the yearbook at Grinnell in order to help restore its prestige on campus.
Past yearbooks at the college were well run but lacked the artistic vision and
ingenuity that is a vivid part of the Grinnell experience.
