Europe’s multiple national identities, socio-economic and political movements, and rich intellectual traditions invite the interdisciplinary work of European Studies. We explore differences of language, culture, and history and problematize the fundamental debates of our own times. European Studies enhances the methodological training of the undergraduate major by exposing students to multiple perspectives and requiring thematic, comparative thinking.
