EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: In the case of an emergency, in which an ambulance, law enforcement, or the fire department are needed, Dial 9-1-1 to reach the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Department. Be prepared to give your location on campus, including the building name, floor number and room number and/or the address. Do not hang up until instructed to do so. You will be asked for your name and the nature of your call. The nature of the emergency will determine how the call is dispatched. While the call is being dispatched, you may hear tones on your phone.
Creative Computing Lab, Technology Services Desk, and Training Lab in the Forum
The Creative Computing Lab (CCL) in the Forum supports media-intensive computing, creative projects, data representation, and research and provides a showcase for campus projects using new media technologies.
The After Hours Technology Services Desk and a PC/Mac equipped 15-station training lab are accessed through the Creative Computing Lab.
SHACS is pleased to announce that A.J. Williams will be joining our team in July as psychologist and training coordinator. A.J. comes to Grinnell from Oregon State University. A.J.’s experience in an APA-approved training site like OSU will be a great boon for us as we design and launch a pre-doctoral psychology internship program. In addition, the expertise and diversity she brings to our staff will serve our students tremendously.
Located in the Bear athletic and recreation center, the climbing wall offers bouldering, top rope climbing, autobelays and lead climbing opportunities. Open sessions are scheduled 4-5 days weekly, with additional specialty sessions for beginners, groups and advanced workshops. The bouldering wall is open most times the center is open. In addition to GORP sponsored climbing times, GORP is happy to schedule sessions for any groups of 6 or more wishing to use the wall.
For the past several years, Andrew Kaufman has been exploring the concept of containment, as well as the tangential ideas of breach and contamination, in a multiplicity of forms that range from painting to installation. Rather than engage with narrative, Kaufman's work seeks to embody these concepts by co-opting their structures, and utilize cultural signifiers that intrinsically allude to the body.

The Drupal Functions and Shared Apps committee will:
- evaluate and help implement requests for custom or non-Palantir modules and ensure all modules are properly documented and meet relevant standards.
- work with Computer Science in the event that Drupal is incorporated into the curriculum so student work will be of the quality to incorporate into the website.
