The first time I served meals for Grinnell College Students was on a dreary Saturday morning in April. My colleagues from the College’s Center for Careers, Life, and Service (CLS) and I delivered over 240 meals on that deserted and lonely campus. In my experience of uncertainty and change while navigating Grinnell, I was mesmerized by the new realities of an unknown world.

Grinnell College Libraries has purchased the World Cinema Collection featuring the best of silent-era films, masterpieces from the mid-20th century, and contemporary films from around the world.

As a member of Grinnell’s senior leadership team Rivera will work closely with the President on institutional planning, developing short- and long-range strategies, policy development, and problem-solving. Dr. Rivera will start her new role here on July 1, 2020.
