The training will be held from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the Joe Rosenfield '25 Center, Room 101. The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child defibrillator use, and relief of choking in an adult or child (the course does not include infant CPR training). Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the American Heart Association's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card or certification in CPR for their job. There is no charge for the course. Attendees must register in advance at CPR Training Registration. Sponsored by Campus Safety & Security and the Office of Human Resources
